1.) Kiln Dried Sand - White/Silica Sand

Silica sand goes on top of the Synthetic Grass once it has been rolled out.

The purpose of the sand is to add weight to the grass so it sits downs, levelling, keeps the grass fibres upright, assist drainage and helps to keep grass cool. Silica sand comes in 20kg bags.

2.) White Sand

Locally sourced white sand or ‘playground’ sand is mainly used as soft fall for children’s play areas and sand pits.

It is also used in mortar to lighten up the colour and to sweep into the gaps between brick pavers to help lock them in place and give the job a clean finish.

We sell white sand to many Perth schools, local councils and kindergartens/childcare centres and play groups for sand pits and playgrounds.

3.) Brickies Sand

Locally sourced in Perth, brickies sand has a slightly sticky look and feel when damp and forms lumps when dry. It can leave colour on hands or clothes due to its clay content. A major component of brick- and block-laying mortar and bagging for walls. It’s available in yellow and white to allow for different mortar colours.

Compacts down really well while still allowing good drainage. Also known as decomposed granite, blue metal dust or crusher dust.

This is a fine crushing of our local blue metal.

Soil conditioners and soil enhancers repair damaged soil and help maintain the soil quality for plant life.

Over time soil can compact and have less air space for roots to function.

3.) Garden Soil Mix

A mix suitable to plant directly into. This mix can be dug in to improve existing soil types, or as a complete soil mix suitable to be used by itself where no soil exists.

This product is suitable for all plant types and there is no need to mix anything else in. Just plant straight into.

Lawn Mix contains topdressing sand, Gingin loam & poultry manure.
